Joel Kwemei

Joel is the Founder and President of a non-governmental organization known as Youth Governors – Kenya whose vision is to have a socially, politically and economically empowered generation of vibrant transformational leaders. He is also a motivational speaker and an author of two books, “Just In Case” and the soon to be released “My Piece of Mind.” While he was President of the Environment Club at Daystar University, his organization was awarded Club of the Year by the United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP.) In addition, he led University AIDS and Drugs Control Unit where he developed programs catered to students struggling with drug addiction. Previously, Joel served as the Marketing Manager for Wide Concepts Africa, a production company which specializes in the advertisement and production of documentaries and feature stories. He now runs his own production company, Almonds Media, and is pursuing a Masters’ in Corporate and Development Communications at Daystar University in Nairobi. He is also a motivational speaker and an author of two books, “Just In Case” and the soon to be released “My Piece of Mind.”
