David Gray
David Gray is a specialist in communications, diplomacy, constituent services and public relations. Born in Mombasa, Kenya, Gray worked hard to overcome a severe speech impediment in his childhood and is today widely recognized for his speaking skills.
A long-standing member of Toastmasters International, in 2013 he became the youngest ever President of a Toastmaster’s chapter in Kenya. Gray was also part of the founding team and the First Chairman of the Kenya National Debate Council where he currently serves on the Council’s Board of Directors.
A graduate of Kenyatta University with a degree in Education and Literature, he represented his university in several global conferences in his capacity as Deputy Secretary General of the Kenyatta University Model United Nations and led his university team to a second-place finish in the Pan-African University Quiz Championship.
Gray currently serves as Public Relations Manager for his home County government, Taita Taveta. In this role he serves as the spokesman for the Governor, liaises with foreign diplomats, and provides value to his county citizenry through constituent services.
Gray is fluent in English, French, Kiswahili and Taita. During his free time he enjoys listening to music, jogging and hosting Quiz Nights through his professional outfit, Quizmasters East Africa.
